We need your support to be able to continue to exist and continue our
pursuit:
- To accommodate animals whose owners are not able to care for an animal
or no longer want to assume this responsibility;
- To pick up and care for abandoned animals left in the streets;
- To rescue and save animal victims that have been severely neglected and/or
have had experienced cruel treatment by their owner;
- To check-up on animals placed in their new adoption homes
- To inform dog and cat owners of their obligations and duties towards their
companions;
- To inform the general population how to contribute to the well-being
and the health of the animals;
Financial contributions
The LVPA is a public association of public utility. It counts on more than
1500 members in which functions on a voluntary basis. The LVPA does not
touch any subsidy of the State. It survives thanks to the generosity of
its members, and private donations, without which it would not be possible
to continue to exist. Three salaried employees work for the LVPA 365 days
a year. The LVPA warmly thanks everyone with their tremendous generosity
et understanding our needs that has helped our 4 legged friends. Additionally,
the LVPA acknowledges the generosity of certain communes who with their
donations have aided the animals of the refuge.
How can you make a difference for these animals?
- Adopt one of our 4-legged creatures in need of a home;
- Make a donation to care for these animals and continue our pursuit
to help them;
- Volunteer your time to walk the dogs or care for them;
- Offer a foster home to an animal while waiting for an adoption.
